ISE student researchers talk with WNCN News

Local News Channel WNCN stopped by ISE’s Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Lab and talked with student researchers about the work they are doing with creating transplantable parts for animals.

Dr. Ola Harrysson and his students have designed and streamlined the manufacturing process for many of these type of transplants while Dr. Marcellin-Little, NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, has performed the surgeries. Currently, ISE is the only department in the world that can manufacture these prosthetic limbs in-house.
