Medical applications of rapid prototyping, biomedical implants, reverse engineering, and robotics and automation in surgery applications.

Dr. Ola Harrysson joined the IE department in January 2002 and is teaching classes related to manufacturing and rapid prototyping. Most of his research involves rapid prototyping, specifically the medical applications of rapid prototyping.
