Hi, I am Safina Luu. I am from Wake Forest, North Carolina, majoring in industrial and systems engineering. I’m a first-generation college student, and my family is originally from Vietnam. I am interested in doing the ABM program in industrial engineering at NC State.
I knew I wanted to do ISE when I got into NC State because ISE encompasses my passion for business and engineering to allow me to advance in efficiency and productivity in virtually any industry. Aside from being an ambassador, I am also involved in the Goodnight Scholars Program 2025 class cohort. I am a trip leader for an Alternative Service Break this 2023 spring break. I work on campus with the North Carolina Science Olympiad head office. I studied abroad in Summer 2022 with the UK: STEM and Liberal Studies in London NC State group program with Dr. Kanton Reynolds.
