Ashley Seamon

Ashley Seamon Ashley is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, along with a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management w/ SAP Certification. Her research interests fall within the area of Supply Chain and Logistics, but as of her first year in the NC State ISE Ph.D. program, she has not yet declared a research topic.

During her undergraduate research, she co-authored a paper submitted through the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) which won second place in the Industrial Engineering Technical Division (https://peer.asee.org/a-study-on-the-effectiveness-of-using-integrated-nonlinear-storytelling-and-simulation-based-learning-game-in-an-operations-research-course). Through obtaining her graduate degree at NC State, Ashley hopes to expand her knowledge of supply chain analytics, specifically in logistics and inventory management.
