Title

Personalizing treatment of patients with chronic conditions

Abstract

Lavieri will describe some of her ongoing research personalizing treatment decisions for patients with chronic conditions. Key to the models developed is the incorporation of the patient’s disease dynamics into the parameterization of the disease state evolution models. She will also describe model conception and validation and the role of multidisciplinary collaborations in ensuring the practical impact of her work.
