Our faculty and students are using medical imaging, CAD and rapid prototyping to create custom medical implants, prosthetic devices and medical instruments.
We believe 3-D printing may be hold the key to solving some of today’s biggest health challenges, including the growing of organs and tissue. With rapid prototyping, our engineers are producing biomedical models to help surgeons. We are also designing custom biopolymer scaffolds for tissue engineering of bones and organs.
