Suleman Asif is a Ph.D. student working in the area of biomedical manufacturing at NC State’s Edward P. Fitts Department of ISE.
Concentration
Research Interests
Suleman’s research focuses on investigating ultrasound for biofabrication and non-destructive quality monitoring of biomimetic engineered tissues. They have worked on ultrasound-assisted bioprinting method for engineering biomimetic tissues. They have also developed non-destructive and non-invasive methods for quality monitoring of bioprinted tissues from ultrasound data using computational, experimental and data driven approaches.
