Dr. Natalia Summerville joined NC State University as adjunct faculty member in 2015. She is a Sr. Operations Research Specialist at SAS, and her main responsibilities include leading design, development and implementation of cutting-edge advanced analytics solutions using data analysis, forecasting, and optimization techniques across different industries. While Dr. Summerville deeply enjoys her optimization modeling work at SAS, her true passion lays in teaching and advising undergraduate students. She has taught industrial engineering, analytics, optimization, mathematics, and statistics since 2004 with outstanding results and awards.
