My name is Hassan Hani Weshah, I was born in Athens, Ohio. When I was 4 years old, I moved to Jordan with my family. Then, I attended private schools from preschool through middle school in Jordan, where I learned both Arabic and the Jordanian culture. In 2009, I went to study in Melbourne Australia at a local high school called Reservoir District Secondary College for the cultural experience. After a couple of years, my father came to NC State University as a visiting scholar. I came with him to the United States for high school. After I graduated
from Athens Drive High School, I knew that North Carolina State University where home is.
Living in three different cultures and being exposed to diverse experiences made me the person I am today. I developed special interests in programming and developing mobile applications, reading books, learning guitar, and playing billiards. I learned how valuable education is, and how important it is to help everyone – especially those who seek knowledge. I am very proud and excited to be a member of the Wolfpack family and an ambassador for the ISE department. I hope that I can share my passion for ISE to everyone!
I chose Industrial and Systems Engineering because it gives me the opportunity to think creatively and innovatively solve a variety of problems. I also enjoy ISE because it gives me the chance to interact with great people, exhibit leadership skills, and engage in exceptional networking experiences including a variety of job, co-op, and internship opportunities.
