Chi-Yi Chen is a Ph.D. student at NC State’s Edward P. Fitts Department of ISE focusing on Supply Chain and Logistics.
Research Interests
Chi-Yi’s primary research focuses on the Unit Load Device (ULD) planning problem. A ULD is a pallet or container used to load luggage, freight and mail on aircraft. This research will help in long-term scale planning and short-term scheduling for the airline industry.
