Richard Bernhard

Professor Emeritus

Richard Bernhard has been on our faculty since 1969 and is still teaching as Professor Emeritus. He began his career as an assistant professor at Cornell University. Throughout his career, Dr. Bernhard served as a visiting professor in Armenia, New Zealand and Norway.

He has served as an associate editor for the following publications:

  • The Engineering Economist
  • The Journal of Financial & Quantitative Analysis
  • IIE Transactions
  • and the Journal of Engineering Valuation and Cost Analysis

 

Research Interests

Engineering economics, financial engineering, cost analysis and control, decision theory, and quantitative modeling.
