Andrea Zamudio

ISE Ambassador

Hello! My name is Andrea Zamudio and I am a third-year student studying Industrial Engineering with a minor in Sociology. I am from Youngsville, NC, and my family is from Peru. Within ISE, I am passionate about data analysis and using data to make informed decisions that drive efficiency and optimization within everyday processes. I am particularly interested in utilizing Industrial Engineering principles to bring change to the U.S. healthcare system and other public sector entities to reduce unnecessary costs and provide better experiences for those in need. I chose to be an ambassador because I love helping people discover the multitude of things they can do with ISE and I hope to help foster diversity within the program by reaching those who maybe haven’t heard of us yet.

Outside of ISE, I am involved in SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) and the Goodnight Scholars Program. Additionally, I recently studied abroad over the summer in Puerto Rico, and am a current co-op at Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC. Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding ISE, study abroad, co-op, or Connect with Andrea Zamudio on LinkedIn
