How to Maximize Your Use of NC State Libraries

Come join ISE’s faculty and fellow students as they welcome Shelby Hallman from the NC State Libraries as she discusses how to take advantage of the NC State Library resources for your research.

As always refreshments will be served from 10:30 – 10:50 am in room 428 Daniels Hall.

Abstract

The presentation will provide an introduction to NC State’s library services and introduce resources useful for conducting in-depth research.

Bio

Shelby Hallman is the Research Librarian for Engineering & Entrepreneurship at the North Carolina State University Libraries. She provides research support, curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, and is a liaison for the Colleges of Engineering and Textiles and Entrepreneurship Program. Shelby is also a Co-PI on the Mellon funded grant, “Visualizing Digital Scholarship in Libraries and Learning Spaces”, investigating large-scale visualization environments across institutions.
