Do you want to know how to help companies identify which geographical settings autonomous vehicle deliveries are likely to be most valuable in improving last-mile delivery and thus where they should direct their investments? Our talk will discuss the problem and address geographies across urban to rural settings. Which way is, on average, more time-saving? A number of properties of the optimal solution to reduce the problem size and valid inequalities, computational results show the savings from the advantages of an autonomous vehicle in all customer geographies. A case study will be included during the workshop.
