ISE’s department head Julie Swann received a 2020 fellowship award from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IISE). Her prize, the 18th in the Department, only strengthens the fact that NC State has the highest percentage of IISE Fellows in the country.
Fellow status is the highest class of IISE membership and recognizes outstanding leaders who have made significant, nationally-recognized contributions to industrial engineering.
Fellows have made notable contributions in management, technical innovation and practical innovation. They volunteer time and effort on behalf of IISE while enhancing the institute’s visibility.
