ISE is Up for a Challenge

Robotics team makes it to the finals in the inaugural Rethink Robotics Video Challenge

Launched in the summer of 2015, the Rethink Robotics Video Challenge was created to highlight the amazing work being done by the research and education community with the Baxter robot. ISE competed against 89 other educational institutions, research labs and companies from 19 countries around the globe. The ISE team consisted by lecturer Jason Low, grad students Ismail Lekorchi and Arunava Nag, and senior Amelia Hardee. ” This project started as an initiative stemming from our summer 2015 high school workshop,” said Jason Low. “We set out to solve an industrial problem: Integrating sensors, machines and robots to “talk” with one another for dynamic control of production.”

Congratulations to the ISE robotics team!
