Manufacturing Day 2013

The NC State Industrial Extension Service (IES) is proud to lead the way by encouraging all North Carolina manufacturers, educational institutions and communities to join the celebration by hosting an event that highlights the importance of manufacturing to the nation and the state’s economy, and draws attention to rewarding, high-skill jobs in manufacturing fields.

The student chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) joined the celebration with various other groups at the Hunt Library with a display including a 3D printer and programmatic information.

In Daniels Hall, the Laboratory for Additive Manufacturing (120 Daniels) opened its doors to the public to show off our world-class facilities from noon-4pm.
