In front of a capacity crowd consisting of 63 new graduates, their families, their friends and the ISE department’s faculty and staff, Professor Julie Ivy delivered the C.A. Anderson commencement address at this year’s fall graduation ceremony. After offering her congratulations to the graduates and their families, she encouraged and challenged them to be brave, believe in themselves and trust that they are on the right path. Dr. Ivy concluded her address by reassuring the former students that they were ready to pursue their careers and she reminded them to strive for happiness.
