This is my wife Monica with our daughter Hannah and son Danny in a photo taken in the Fall of 2003. Hannah is 2 years old in this picture, and Danny is 6. I'm not saying how old Monica is. She's to be commended for the Wolfpack red outfits though!
The munchkin on the left (#1486) is Danny running in his first road race. This photo is taken about 15 yards from the finish of a 1 mile fun run. He ran 10:05 and finished 5th place out of maybe 100 kids of all ages. Given the hills and the pouring rain, that's not half bad for a 6 year old.
This is Danny and Hannah kidding around in front of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC in October, 2004. Their "Poppy" (Dr. Ken Reifsnider) was inducted into the National Academy of Engineers the day this photo was snapped. Congratulations to Ken for that well deserved honor.
